Well guys, it’s August 2026, weather being the headline of the month – and July past – but here in Melrose it’s been surprisingly ‘cool’, like me I guess!!
There are loads of things going on that are frankly low rent and shitty! Many involving people who should know better – sports folks, politicians – of course – so called personalities, Melrose folks – ok, not all, but b’stards parking in all the places that I want to and add tourists to the list and the camper vans, well, friggin’ nightmare.
Random question – who freed up camper vans from being guilty of ruining tourism in my country?
They carry irresponsible foreign people, including English around my land and drop rubbish of the most disgusting variety on my hallowed world!!!
Random answer – No One freed them, they are all guilty so and so’s! Is it the same where you are, when you are – what decade are you reading this in? Have a look – what vehicles are you allowed anyway? Electric, petrol and diesel- still got them? Or is the world so poisoned that we have lost the race and the crap politicians have not been wildly creative and risk taking – which they will have to be, guys, to save any semblance of peace and belief in a wonderful world?
Or have the ‘mental’ few sold the masses of people out and left us no traction to get by in a normal world? Or do we have a free transport system, free education, free health, free care……..?
Mentioned politicians – we are on the 5th, 6th prime minister in a few years, indicative of the chaos we live under. At time of writing we have a new Labour prime minister who is getting it from all angles but we await results. We’ll see! His name is Andy. How ministerial – but I’d have him over the others at the moment. Go on, take a look back and see how he has done, did, doing!!!
In one of the opposition parties we have a leader called Farage, a truly nasty man supported by truly nasty voters. Who only care for their selfish selves. The Reform party. B’stards, racists, misoginists, murderers and thieves, stealing public money and companies resources. Take a look back at what he attempted to do. I bet cruelty at every turn. Kids, be kind, be helpful, be there for others.
One of the biggest blights in the nation, sad to say Scotland and the whole UK, is the violence of men against women.
It takes form in many ways, so many. Domestic violence can masquerade as many things, but a man, partner, husband hitting, punching, using weapons and so on then clawing women to get what the men want is horrific. In there is sexual violence and assault and rape of both strangers and partners. It’s awful and I raise this kids toll five of you to be clear about what this behaviour can be in so many ways. However it’s about respect for each other but in this century, about how to treat each other and respect each other.
It’s mostly men assaulting women 80+ percent of cases – Sandy, learn to respect your female friends – Alba, Breagha, Anna and Faye, respect men too but don’t let them treat you badly and remember it’s not always physically that men can be bastards, its emotionally too – learn, quickly, to walk away.
The UK world is mostly run by men. This maybe why we don’ do enough to enter into conversation in society – the good old British was, do what your told woman…..or else.
